Adam Thomas is a seasoned Executive Director with extensive expertise in Tourism & Travel, Sports Tourism, and Tourism Planning. Over the past 13 years, Adam has consistently developed and executed Destination Marketing and Promotion plans for Pasco and Citrus County’s, significantly enhancing their visibility to global visitors.

Adam has successfully led the rebranding efforts for both Florida counties. He repositioned Visit Pasco as a premier Leisure/Sports and Meeting destination, now known as Florida’s Sports Coast, and rebranded Visit Citrus as “The Manatee Capital of The World” for Discover Crystal River FL.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a specialization in Hospitality Management and has earned the highest accreditation in the tourism industry, the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) certification.

Before embarking on his business career, Adam spent 12 years playing professional baseball for four different Major League organizations and competed professionally on three continents.

In his personal time, Adam enjoys competing in Ironman events across the country and exploring the area’s rich outdoor experiences with his two children, Tristan and Ava.
