What are the conference dates and locations?

The conference will take place on December 8th to 9th at The Tradewinds Resort, St. Pete Beach, Florida.

How does the 2-in-1 conference work?

The Sports Facilities Conference and Community Playmaker run side-by-side December 8–9 in St. Pete Beach — same venue, two distinct experiences. SF Conference is operations-focused, built for SFC venue operators, developers, and industry leaders. Community Playmaker is placemaking-focused, built for mayors, city managers, and economic development leaders. Shared meals, networking, and marketplace appointments keep both rooms connected.

I'm an elected official — can I come?

Yes — Community Playmaker was built for you. Mayors, council members, city managers, and economic development directors make up the core of the room, and every session is calibrated to the decisions you actually make: how to fund projects, structure partnerships, and bring something back your council will approve.

What is included in my RSVP?

Your registration includes access to all sessions, networking events, lunch each day, dinner on Wednesday night, and conference materials.

Will there be accommodations or a hotel block?  

Yes. Discounted hotel rates are available at the Tradewinds Resort for conference attendees. Please book before the November 3rd to secure the preferred rate. Space is limited. Details are available on the registration page. Book your room NOW!

How Do I Get There?

The Tradewinds Resort is served by two nearby airports: Tampa International (28 miles) and St. Pete-Clearwater International (20 miles). From either airport, you can grab an Uber or rent a car. On-site self-parking is available.

Is there a dress code for the conference?  

Business casual is recommended for all sessions. For Wednesday dinner, while there’s no official dress code, cocktail attire is encouraged to match the festive spirit of this special night.

What if I have dietary restrictions?  

You’ll be able to indicate any dietary restrictions during registration. We will do our best to accommodate all requests and will provide clearly labeled food options at all meals.

What if I need to work or have a meeting during the conference?  

While we don’t have a designated work area, the hotel has plenty of common space for you to step out of the conference and take a meeting or do some work.
