What are the conference dates and locations?

The conference will take place on December 9th to 11th at Opal Sol Resort, Clearwater, Florida.

Do I have to RSVP for the conference?

The Sports Facilities Conference is free for SFC employees, however, attendees must RSVP by November 14th if they wish to attend the conference.

What is included in my RSVP?

Your registration includes access to all sessions, networking events, breakfast and lunch each day, dinner on Wednesday night, and conference materials.

Will there be accommodations or a hotel block?  

Yes. Discounted hotel rates are available at Opal Sol Resort for conference attendees. Venues and departments are responsible for covering the cost of the room. Please book before November 10th to secure the preferred rate. Space is limited. Details and links are available on the registration page.

Where do I park?  

Opal Sol offers a vallet service. You can use the valet service or you can self-park in the parking garage next to the hotel. SFC will be covering all parking expenses for the conference. If you valet, just mention you are part of the Sports Facilities Companies group. If you self-park, pay with your company card or personal card and submit for reimbursement.

Shepard’s Beach Resort offers complimentary valet service. If you are staying at Opal Sol or AC hotel, you can walk to Shepard (less than 10 minute walk). If you are local to Clearwater, please park at the valet and mentioned you are here for the SFC Reception.

Is there a dress code for the conference?  

Business casual is recommended for all sessions.
For Wednesday dinner, while there’s no official dress code, cocktail attire is encouraged to match the festive spirit of this special night.

What if I have dietary restrictions?  

You’ll be able to indicate any dietary restrictions during registration. We will do our best to accommodate all requests and will provide clearly labeled food options at all meals.

What if I need to work or have a meeting during the conference?  

While we don’t have a designated work area, the hotel has plenty of common space for you to step out of the conference and take a meeting or do some work.
